When approached to contribute to a live show with a high budget, I saw an opportunity to transform the stage into something more than a performance space—I wanted to turn it into a theater. My vision was to make the backdrop itself a theatrical canvas, a living, breathing part of the story. The project aimed to blend music, performance, and visual artistry into a cohesive narrative, creating an experience where the stage wasn’t just a setting but a storyteller. The stakes were high: a sold-out venue expected nothing less than perfection, and the vision needed to captivate a demanding audience.
My role focused on crafting the visual world of the production, blending cinematic techniques with bold, immersive visuals that brought the theatrical concept to life. We spent short time weeks experimenting with projections, choreographed lighting, and visual effects to transform the backdrop into an active participant in the narrative. Every visual element was designed to interact with the music, actors, and live chorus, creating a seamless fusion of performance and storytelling. Working closely with the creative team, we built a production where every layer—from the smallest detail to the largest spectacle—served the overarching story.
The show sold out in less than an hour, breaking records in Spain and setting a new benchmark for live performances in Santiago Bernabeu. Audiences and critics alike praised its innovation, with many describing it as a cinematic experience brought to the stage. For me, it was the opportunity to transform the stage into a theatrical, narrative-driven space that pushed the boundaries of live performance.
